Inspired by the Mediterranean Culture and a bold color palette, Plaza de Magdalena was the perfect setting for beautiful this styled shoot with its natural stone décor and the flowering vine tree decor. In creating the design, Erika’s Elegance Weddings & Events and Flawless Weddings & Events took the quatrefoil motif from the venue’s decor and wove it into the design elements of the stationery, cuisine, and dessert designs. The icing on the cake was to style each bride differently based upon her personality yet still fit with the Mediterranean theme.

“For this shoot we didn’t want to focus on the traditional bride and groom, instead we wanted to show how different brides could choose different attire and styles and they all work for the Mediterranean theme, creating their own amazing look that fits their style,” said the planner. We just LOVE the gorgeous colors and mood of this shoot. Scroll for inspo!

“For the reception designs, we decided to pair the natural stone décor of the venue with a bold and bright color palette of deep oranges and fuchsias. And no Mediterranean theme would be complete without hues of blues. I worked with Sundrop Vintage Rental to pull in the Mediterranean theme by choosing metal and wood design elements. In addition, I went with non-traditional reception seating by utilizing their vintage furniture college in blue that paired well with the vintage dinnerware provided by Lily Oliver Vintage Rentals. The dinnerware also paired well on our sweetheart table with linens provided by GBS Linen which was framed by vintage gold picture frames provided by Marnie of Sweet Salvage Rental. Sundried Tomatoes American Bistros and Catering created some yummy Mediterranean inspired cuisine and a signature drink to fit within our color palette.”
